What is Wrong?
I have, in asking the question, made an implied assertion the there is something wrong with us and our world, which I suppose may not be a universal position. I suspect that even if there is agreement on there being something wrong, the details of that wrongness and the causation of the same, will be food of conjecture. Nevertheless I must make a position to validate my assertion, to that end the "Three questions of Antaganus" is a dialectic argument that lays out my thoughts on what is wrong with the world. .
Three questions of Antaganus
Antaganus:
Oh the heavens preserve us from sentimental nonsense. Ok, so we have our difficulties and problems but every generation has its issues and crises but they get sorted out in time. People always feel that the time they live in is the worst there has ever been; but look at things in the long term: are we not the most civilised age there has ever been? Look at all the achievements of man, both socially and technologically. There is no need for scaremongering. Things will work out.

Anyway, what do you mean by "better" lots of revolution leaders or tyrannical megalomaniacs through out history would lay claim to their changes as being virtuously beneficial but mostly just for a small elite, or is this just another pitting the poor revolution, a moral feel-good crusader ... listen I don't want to seem callus but as cream comes back to the top the dregs settle to bottom, that,s just life we will always have the poor, didn't Christ say as much.

You dreamers are all the same, you make up some woolly pie in the sky utopia that's all very hippy but you just aren't living in the real world. Loads of do-gooders have tried to find a utopia if it was possible do you not think it would have happened by now? With all the conflict and strife in the world I cant see much change happening anytime soon.
